Last Monday, ExxonMobil and Suncor stood before the Supreme Court and asked the justices to hear Boulder, Colorado's climate case before communities get to present their evidence.

And inside? Big Oil did NOT get the easy ride it was hoping for. Several justices pushed back on the oil companies arguments, with Justice Kagan questioning why Big Oil should be treated any differently than Big Tobacco or Big Pharma when it comes to misleading the public.

In addition to trying to throw out lawsuits against it in court, Big Oil is also working on giving itself immunity from lawsuits through federal legislation in DC and through legislation at the state level. These are marching across the country led by Big Oil and other corporations. 

Big Oil knows the damage it causes and has lied for decades. Now it is trying to remove any responsibility in paying for the damages it has caused.
